The Great Machine On Rock Da Vinci: "Yes, we had fun, exciting! But, because this production is very big, it is more isolated, you don't really get to see Ozzy, you can not feel it well, the production is huge like forty thousand peolple and we supported Ozzy so I maybe didn't saw him because I had to be concentrated and not excited. After Their Live Show On Rover Bar In Thessaloniki, The Band, The Great Machine Talked To Rock Da Vinci, For Their Future Plans, For Their Experience With Ozzy Osbourne In Israel And For Many Themes About Questions Of Georgia Simeonidou!

Rock Da Vinci : Well, we had an amazing time at Rover, i think you had too. But, I have to ask.. Did you enjoyed it?
Omer Haviv : YES..YES..YES
Aviran Karnafi : Yes, yes, yes.. It was great, very good.. we love the people!
Michael Izaky : YES
Rock Da Vinci : I saw on the internet that you have played in 2018 in Israel with Ozzy Osbourne. How was that experience?
Omer Haviv : Big..
Aviran Karnafi: Yes, we had fun, exciting! But, because this production is very big, it is more isolated, you don't really get to see Ozzy, you can not feel it well, the production is huge like forty thousand peolple and we supported Ozzy so I maybe didn't saw him because I had to be concentrated and not excited. Other bands like 1000mods or All them Witches were more on the ground so we get to know them and learn things, meet them and it was not so isolated.
Michael Izaky: I was the opposite, not concentrated but very excited.
Rock Da Vinci : You don't want that, to be isolated, as a band?
Aviran Karnafi: No we want to, to support Metallica and Ozzy Osbourne ..Then we have no problem with isolation.. Just the money not to be not isolated, if the crowd won't be isolated, then everything is good. This experience was.. supporting Ozzy was.. WOW!!
Rock Da Vinci : I saw that you had played with Greek bands too. Do you have in mind some that you haven't played with but want to in the future?
Omer Haviv: With the best Greek bands, we have good friends from Greek bands, very nice people and we enjoyed it played with 1000mods and Naxatras, but we didn't played with Nightstalker and Giannis from Naxatras in Acropolis (hahaha), with Kazantzidis and Glykeria in the Olympus, we have some wishes as you see as a band ( haha).
Rock Da Vinci : Did you find the love you are talking about in your music, when you do concerts around the world?
Omer Haviv : Yes, it's working!
Aviran Karnafi: It's always working! Sometimes we are not sure before the show if it is going to happen, but then all the way it is happening!

..We were a little bit lost for some minutes, with a metaphor about how is seems like making a food and put the ingredients the one after the other and then boom!!..
Michael Izaky: We like it when we make a love ceremony.
Rock Da Vinci : You feel like giving it and receiving it?
Aviran Karnafi: It is not about giving and receiving, it is about.. ( tomatoes and eggs hahaha) it is about it is here and we put the light on it. That is what we do, it is here and everybody sees it, feel it , want it and most of the time we have the energy to put the light on it. There is not so many mistakes can happen when you put the light on it.
Rock Da Vinci : Let's talk a little bit about what happened today, you were on the stage and in one moment we found you behind us, in front of us or climbing somewhere. The energy was amazing! Did you do that in every concert?
Omer Haviv : Not every, only when the sex is good.
Aviran Karnafi: We like to go down with the people in the ed of the show most of the times, when it is really good we like to go down and make it better and when it is cold and difficult we like to go down and break the ice. We like to drink the juice of out it, to spread the pleasure.
Rock Da Vinci : Omer, I saw you did sex with your guitar, I love the song you say about freedom. You play with slides and some weird techniques tell me about this one.
Omer Haviv : It is the only way I can do it, I say the words every time differently. This song is about freedom, I think all people should have freedom, but freedom is not something that someone has to give you. It is free, you have to take it. Sometimes I remind people, they have freedom they just need to claim it, I like to do it.
Rock Da Vinci : How do you decide who will sing, because I saw that each one of you does it.
Omer Haviv : Whoever say it better, sometimes I write a song but I don't do it good is who feels it more. Or maybe I have to do it because my mate is busy climbing somewhere. There is a microphone but nobody there, so..
Aviran Karnafi: It is the same we said for the crowd, is everybody's. I think that if not all of us sing, we do not get the band atmosphere. We are a band, we all need to put something, we have a good partnership. It is like we split the energy right. We get to a point where we touch the soul.
Rock Da Vinci : How important is this connection with your audience for you?
Michael Izaky : Most important.
Aviran Karnafi: We don't need the song we do art, we don't care about nothing else.
Omer Haviv : At the end we are looking if the crowd is sad, happy if they are with us. It is like making love, it is not always the same, but it is always love.
Michael Izaky: The song is everybody's, if you need to prove something let people prove it with you, as easy as it sounds this is the most real thing for us.
Aviran Karnafi: It is not our show, it is everyone's show
Omer Haviv : And we are doing music, it is very hard to record us because we do it every time a little bit different, less solos, less vocals, more vocals, more hard, less hard..
Aviran Karnafi: It is not an approach to normal society, if we could come and get to the point, to bring the peole, to buy the tickets, to pay this minimum or maximum wage.. We do not need nothing except of this energy blended. This is what we want to, we try to do good songs, interesting.. Art is like learning to play or doing a sculpture but what is really important is to break all borders, all mask, to get naked and free. If we could make the crowd 20%, 50% or 80% to be naked with us then.. WOW!
Rock Da Vinci : Are there other bands like yours in Israel? We do not know much about Israel, how is the alternative, underground music scene there?
Omer Haviv : Like us no, many great machines but only one Great machine. Good bands, great musicians, but very small scene. Different kind of music, cool. I am not arrogant, but what we are trying to do the way we do it, nobody plays.
Aviran Karnafi: We are too much in the movie. We are very devoted to it, despite that every day life isn't always brings you good directions. In Israel is very difficult to believe and to be in a band, because if they do not start to pay you very soon or became good or mainstream. There is so much pain in Israel, army, politics, wars, sexism, economic problems all in your face so art of music is really great
Michael Izaky: Maybe because of the fact that it is very difficult to get out of Israel, it gives people the encouragement or even the time to develop themselves to be..amazing! I've seen many bands that blew my mind and we've been to many festivals but nothing touched me. Everyone is like in the same direction and to me in Israel i find everything I need, not because it is my home but because of the musicians.
Rock Da Vinci : What are your plans, are you planning for a new album soon?
Aviran Karnafi: Not soon.. It took us more to write songs and then get into the studio and record them, three-five days and mix it maybe.. We have plan for another album but we are going to take time for it, to feel more the parts of the body of the song.
Rock Da Vinci : You have your own studio?
Aviran Karnafi: Yes but now we are trying to get rid of it! We do not want apartment, we want a bus and to travel like gypsies
Rock Da Vinci : Do you want to say something that I didn't ask?
